Top reason he hasn't been fired is likely that they have not been mathematically eliminated. Playoffs seem way distant at this point but if Kirk goes off it's possible. It probably won’t happen until the Vikes are mathematically eliminated but given that a 7th team has yet to really emerge, that could be week 16, week 17.
