Sounds like once we got the team set, BA wanted to make sure we could just give the job to Bowles. BA specifically said this isn't health related.

But Glazer mentioned a rule that had to be confirmed for this to work. I'd guess the Rooney Rule or something like that.

Ah yes, the Rooney Rule.  Did they have to interview a minority candidate outside the organization to hire the internal minority candidate.

I mean. Honestly. He just drops what he's heard. He doesn't seem to try to put a spin on any of it. Whether fans like it or not.
