Thursday, Sept. 15    vs Los Angeles Chargers (TNF)    7:15 p.m. CT

Short week, so here is the game thread early.

The Chargers eeked out a win over the Raiders in Las Vegas. Kahlil Mack had three sacks and Justin Herbert had three TD passes.

HC Reid had some comments on the injuries. OK, not really. He said that we would see. Thanks Coach.

Mahomes explained his sore left wrist. He missed zero snaps though Chad Henne did play in the second half when the game was safe.

They may not have Allen...

Herbert is incredible though. In many ways he's like Pat in the way he can march you down the field in two plays. The pressure he puts on a defense is crazy. Then, if you try and put a lid on it, he will constantly feed Ekeler, who picks up at least 8 yards every time with all the space there.

Sucks about McDuffie. Hamstrings can linger so it'll be interesting how fast he can get back up to speed when he's cleared.

Reid said it had more to do with the turf in AZ than anything else. He'll be back for Buffalo, which will be needed.

Until then, Fenton, Sneed, and the 2 rooks will have to ball out
