43M
Quote Coolio, the rapper who was among hip-hop’s biggest names of the 1990s with hits including “Gangsta’s Paradise” and “Fantastic Voyage,” died Wednesday at age 59, his manager said. https://apnews.com/article/coolio-dead-59-music-los-angeles-f55102050b45a771c5859cb1bd5a78b1 As a 90s kid, I cant think of grade school dances without remembering everyone singing along to Gangsters Paradise. Another underrated song of his that Ive always liked really hits different now... RIP Coolio.

Another underrated song of his that Ive always liked really hits different now... RIP Coolio. In a curious twist of fate, I saw him live for the first time in my life 2 weeks ago. He said they had just laid his cousin to rest that morning, and he dedicated “C U When You Get There” to him and a long list of fallen rappers and friends. I never thought I would go to one of his shows, but he was great. Vanilla Ice, Young MC, Color Me Badd, and Rob Base also performed, but Coolio was by far the best. RIP
THE DUKE
Fantastic Voyage was one of my favorite bangers back in high school. RIP Coolio, thanks for the entertainment.
