Wilson doesn't have the speed of Edmonds, but he knows this run game very well and can actually be trusted to fill in for Mostert when he gets a breather and inevitably misses a game or two with injury. Already paid dividends with only a half-week of being on the team. Does anyone honestly think Edmonds even catches that ball that Wilson did, nevertheless make the play to get into the endzone? Or that he would have been able to rush for 51 yards on only 9 carries? Hint: He wouldn't have. Edmonds hadn't rushed for more than 33 yards in any game this year, and was averaging a paltry 2.9 ypc.
