tyler735
As the question states which RB had a better peak. Specifically, best 2 seasons was the argument. I’ll chime in later on my thoughts, but was curious to see how other people viewed these 2 RB’s at their peak. Soggust
Voted Charles, but I didn't even look up any stats to compare. Charles is better and I'm going to stick my head in the sand and refuse to acknowledge any evidence to the contrary. Just voting with the heart here.
Thomas5737
Best 1 season peak: Justin Jefferson of Josh Gordon? Gordon 117 yards per game, Jefferson 106. Not many can compare to Charles' stats year 2 and 3 minus the TDs. Charles just had a really short peak which hurts his career accomplishments compared to backs who were able to keep it up for 8-10 years. Soko
One guy is one of the fastest home run hitters that we’ve seen at the running back position (top 5 all time in speed probably based on eye test only, trust me), that was basically gone with a head of steam, that boasts some of the best efficiency ever, and will never get the all-time respect he deserves because we’ll always have to wonder what it’d look like if he got the touches some of his contemporaries were getting and the other guy is Jamaal Charles Edited February 12, 2023 by Yin-Yang
Billy86
Tough call, but I'm going with Charles. His peak is one of the most overlooked maybe in any position in my 20 years watching the sport (and if memory serves, even was when he was doing it). His story is class too, going from the Special Olympics to a bona-fide NFL superstar.
BayRaider
Chubb is a RB you make in a lab. Only thing he needs is better receiving skills.
