I didn't say the game is soley important. I said the week is important. The practice is more important than the games obviously. People that perform really well at the senior bowl practice in recent years: Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, Jordan Love, Baker Mayfield, Jalen Hurts & Dak prescott. All but one of them are either on playoff teams and/or are considered franchise qbs by their franchises. The week matters.

All of those guys were significantly better college players than Spencer Rattler. They had traits and put out years of good film. Their draft stock wasn't inflated because of what they did at the Senior Bowl. Rattler sucked at South Carolina and got ran out of town at Oklahoma.

Love & Allen werent. The senior bowl boosted both of their stock.

Allen was a projected top 10 pick going into his final season and Love was viewed as a first round prospect buddy.

Health is a big if though

Big if but let him get healthy and start Bennett/Facyson if he’s not ready to go by week 1.. if it’s incentive laden with a lower guarantee, it wouldn’t hurt.. if he’s right, him and Jones would be solid on the outside.

For the running record, according to @Jeremy408

• Spencer Rattler should be our pick at #44 and is in a similar tier to Josh Allen as a prospect.

• Derek Carr going to New Orleans was the same as Tom Brady signing with Tampa Bay.

• Mike Tomlin is a better coach than Bill Bellichick.

• Russell Wilson is still a high level NFL QB in 2024.

Oh yeah of course but then both of them had bad seasons due to the talent around them going away. The senior bowl allowed them to both move up in their draft position because they were in an environment where everybody has the same weapons and he's going up against the same competition which allowed for them to showcase their talents regardless of circumstance.

Both had top tier size and NFL arms which is why it didn’t matter that they went to smaller schools and had meh final years. Rattler is tiny, unathletic, was benched at Oklahoma and then had two years of bad film at South Carolina.

You forgot the arm talent, fact that hes mobile despite the 40 time, very good Freshman year, who he was benched for, circumstances he was in once he transfered & of course, the failure define the bad film.

He was bad his final year at Oklahoma too. So we have 3 consecutive years of him putting out bad film in different situations and he’s 24 with a good but not great arm and no elite traits.

So by bad film you mean a bad two games at Oklahoma and with a bad roster in South Carolina (with a rotation of 3 LTs 3 LGs 2 Cs 2 RGs 4 RTs). Got it
