2024 NFL Draft Thread

Penix to Atlanta is amazing. So smart of a pick.

His question marks have been taming his game for the pro level and reading defenses effectively. Cousins NFL game has revolved around safe decisions and reading defenses. Penix gets to learn to strengthen his short comings by watching a true pro who's strongest points are what Penix is "weakest" at.

In two years we will look back at this pick and say just how truly smart it was

Screw value. It's in the eye of the.beholder. because to them, this player, given their situation, was the best value no matter where they could have potentially gotten him again.

The way this draft is going… there’s a very good chance that some elite Defensive talent is going to be our BPA at this point.

I just said the same thing to my sons.

Absolutely, no defensive player in first 12 selections is crazy!

Was thinking the same thing. Screw OL if there's a top flight defender left. You add the best player and worry about it later. Even if it means you trade up later for the lineman to fill a need, because honestly, some of these defensive guys that should be left are likely going to be top 10, top 12 prospects

Sooooo, I would definitely dangle Trey Lance to Raiders for a 3rd 😜

And if Lance develops as he was expected into some cross between John Elway and Cam Newton? You gave that up to net a 1 round swqp of picks

Lance has 5 starts and is only 23. He was super raw coming from NDSU. And he didn't suck when he played. He got hurt and then lost his job to a player who literally looks like a Tom Brady clone, perfecting the simple stuff and playing with the utmost cerebral knowhow possible for such a young player.

You still have a big chance for something exciting in Lance. Don't be in such a a rush to move him
