How many HCs have great records without a quality starting QB? Shanahan’s probably the closest, but I don’t think Jimmy was a below average QB for most of his career. The guy who oversees the entire roster and coaching staff doesn't win games, the guy who's only on the field for half the game at most while making up 1/53 of the roster does.
