Yeah. I am not sure how useful this kind of raw number is.  It needs to have some kind of context based on whether the players had an opportunity to make a play.  If a LB is running down the seam in coverage while the ball goes someplace else, saying the LB didn't log a "stop" on the play isn't very meaningful, even if it's accurate.

I haven't looked at the numbers of how he's played in nickel, dime etc. but how much of this might be that he just doesn't fit in the new defense?  Maybe he needs to be in a 3-4 after all.
