onejayhawk
Tuesday is list update day. Let's see what looks new. FS/FS/D 54: CB ISAIAH OLIVER COLORADO 78: DL TIM SETTLE VIRGINIA TECH 86: TE MARK ANDREWS OKLAHOMA 122: S DESHON ELLIOTT TEXAS 124: DL B.J. HILL NORTH CAROLINA STATE Oliver is a lot more likely than Davis. Andrews is great value where we get him. I love Settle's upside and Hill is a NT candidate, so DL looks well served. Elliot is pure steal. J

valkrei
Fanspeak/fanspeak dif settings. 54. TE Dallas Goedert South Dekota State Kelce gets concussions, and hey maybe a two TE set would be fun. 78. DL Da'Shawn Hand Alabama Our DL stinks we gotta get better 86: Edge Arden Key LSU Not sold on our pass rushers, best on board. 122: CB Tony Brown CB depth is bad and if lucky this guy could start or could wind up starting later in the year 124: Edge Dorance Armstrong JR Kansas : I really like this guy, steal at

I wish we had a 1st but it seems there is so much talent for where we are picking this year. lots of solid options and ways to go.
onejayhawk
Settle seems to be a consensus pick. it probably means he is under rated by the rankings. J

valkrei
So I used that mile high one just because I wanted to see what the big board would like like from an unknown Dever fanboy. So I used Mile High Huddle/Fanspeak/Difficult settings. I have to admit this draft was interesting and some of my picks were as well. Some players I thought maybe went to high, many fell. Quite the shuffle so check it out. 54: Edge Dorance Armstrong Kansas - This guy could be a first round pick in some mocks and he seems to be all over the board. He is somewhere between a late first and early 3 round pick. I wonder what KC's big board looks like. 78: CB Mike Hughes Central FL - He barely fell to us in this draft and I know he is on KC's radar. 86: G Taylor Hearn Clemson - I think LG is a growing concern and we have to protect PM2 or this team is in big trouble. 122: QB Mason Rudolph OSU- I know a QB? Seriously? I also know we have some new QB's this year that might be viable backups but the backup of the future to me is Mason and I thought he would be drafted in round 2 so getting him in round 4 is a steal. 124: LB Shaun Dion-Hamilton AL - This might be a luxury pick but its good value at a position that needs depth/rotation and if lucky might become a starter. Draft #2 Composite/Fanspeak/Difficult settings 54: G Braden Smith Auburn - Weakest part of our O line- Maybe this guy could start. 78: DL Tim Settle VT - KC is interested in this guy and our DL is not good right now. 86: Edge Dorance Armstrong Kansas - Not sure how far this guy falls he is all over the board I reached for him a bit in this one but where I got him is closer to reality I think. 122: Edge Herules Mata Afa Washington state - I reached here as well but Ford did not pass his physical, Houston is getting old/injured all the time. We don't need one OLB we need two. 124: CB Tarvarus Mcfadden - he is a little bit raw but he is young I think he can develop and be a solid player

kingseanjohn
This is probably my last mock. Since 2010, I've mocked a player that we have either drafted, traded for, or picked up after their first contract. Who will it be this year? 2.22: DeShon Elliott, Safety. This guy is criminally underrated in mocks. If he's here, I'm taking him. 3.14: RJ McIntosh, DL. He's risen up mock draft boards. He's got the tools but he's also a bit raw. I could see him being this years Chris Jones. 3.22: Hercules Mata'afa, OLB. This is a bit more of a need pick. He's talented but at this point, I don't see him as more than depth (which we need). 4.22: Keke Coutee, WR. I think DAT is on IR this year. I debated going with Auden Tate instead. But I went for speed vs an additional 7inches in height. I'd be ok with either. 4.24: Holton Hill, CB. I like him as a prospect if he interviews well. There are other CBs I'd rather have, but this is how the board fell. 6.22: Sione Teuhema, OLB. The guy can play and could be a steal. A lot will depend on the interview process. 7.15: Kameron Kelly, CB/S. I didn't really want to double dip at a position again. But, I think it's worth it for Kelly. He's being undervalued in mocks and I highly doubt he falls near here. He played S until his senior year when he switched to CB. 7.25: Brandon Silvers, QB. I think he could be better than some of the guys who go early. Give him a couple years learning from Reid and he has the potential to be pretty good. I don't think he lasts this long. onejayhawk
I really like this set. It does not cover all the bases, but hits a lot of depth issues. F/U/D 54: CB ISAIAH OLIVER COLORADO - Close call here. S Justin Reid was also available. I would be happy with either. 78: TE MARK ANDREWS OKLAHOMA - I may like him better than some, but no one will argue value here. 86: DL TIM SETTLE VIRGINIA TECH - This is getting to be the standard pick here. The last three have fantastic upside. 122: LB FRED WARNER BRIGHAM YOUNG - Needs to add mass, but could be a better pro than in college. 124: OT WILL RICHARDSON NORTH CAROLINA STATE - Another long and lean prospect with growth potential. onejayhawk
This is insane. Draftplex list and needs, difficult setting. 54: DL TAVEN BRYAN FLORIDA - Scott Wright has him #24 78: TE MARK ANDREWS OKLAHOMA - His star is dimming, bust still good value here 86: DL RASHEEM GREEN USC - I really should have taken him before Andrews. A steal. 122: LB JEROME BAKER OHIO STATE - Scott Wright has him above Malik Jefferson. Another steal 124: OT JOSEPH NOTEBOOM TCU - The only reach and not by much J
onejayhawk
This is more reasonable. New Fangraphs list and needs, difficult. 54:TE MIKE GESICKI PENN STATE - Over Hand. Maxon Rudolph was still on the board 78: DL TIM SETTLE VIRGINIA TECH - Our favorite is now #70 on Fangraph's list. 86: EDGE KEMOKO TURAY RUTGERS - Another riser. Wright has him #72. 122: CB TONY BROWN ALABAMA - Nice get in round 4 124: S DESHON ELLIOTT TEXAS - Another favorite, now fading. Not sure why.
