I can’t stop watching highlights of him.

That speed though. The theme with our WR’s is speed. Lee, Moncrief, Chark, Cole and Dede can all scoot.

Chark is pretty damn good at tracking the ball.

I wonder if they will put him back there as the punt returner.

If his role is decent it might be best to leave Mickens back there

I suppose it’s exciting but Mayock isnt exactly amazing either but hopefully he is right about at least 1 of them

Actually I respect Mayock's opinions over Kiper or McShay for the simple fact the 100 on his list are players he actually scouts his self Not saying he is going to get every pick right but even among scouts Mayock is respected because the info that he gives out isn't just filler its just some good tid bits of info.

At the very least its cool to see someone outside of Jags Nation rep a guy we got because even though we have gotten some respect, we still get dumped on more than the average team that competed for a conference title

He's usually pretty good at getting a feel for roughly where guys are expected to go, and a general idea of how they're viewed by much of the league.

It's just that when it comes to projecting future success, he's about as successful as the actual draft.  Which is to say, not that great.

Didn't realize it, but good ole Jerry Sullivan was with LSU and appears to be instrumental to the development of Chark. Ryan O' Halloran's interview with Jerry mentions Chark watching Jaguars receivers Hurns and ARob (Sully's former pupils of course) and learning a lot from them. Jerry also brought up one of my concerns with Chark, in that he's a bit of a body catcher and doesn't attack the ball very well in the air as much as you'd want for someone his size. But it sounds like Chark's got Jerry's stamp of approval.

Thanks Jerry, for giving us another young receiver to mold. For all the crap we had at WR post Thunder and Lightning, I almost feel like Jerry and now Keenan is just making it up to us.
