  1. To my fellow unknown FF brethren who also are One with the Schwartz (currently 3 others in the polls) ... the great power of Truth and eternal Understanding awaits us ... ... The Prophecy shall soon be fulfilled ... ... It 'Tis ....
  2. That's DaBaby ... a true leader of scantily clad music video harlots ... said harlots then grab the attention of men ... thus, he is indirectly a great leader of men ... Sign me up ... Also, much like Baker, he once stayed in a Holiday Inn Express Last Night ... so he too has all the answers ... My write-in candidate was Todd Haley ... I mean did you see the speeches he gave while acting like no cameras were around ... He Gets Us ...
  3. @CBrownsman When you get a chance could you edit the OP and check the box "make votes public?" The people deserve transparency ... we need to keep track of the charlatans for all time record keeping purposes ...
  4. I am One with the Schwartz ... There is the power of the Schwartz ... and nothing else....
  5. But then you'll miss the wonderful new jersey's and mascot re-branding... It's going to be "He Gets Us" on a 1000....
  6. Unknown tidbit... I heard MKC sells some of the best foot fetish videos online while wearing a mask and using a pseudonym ... I have a friend that's still searching for them ... (Definitely not my friend below...)
  7. No. Not at all. Mckinney is a nice player that I like a lot, but relative to the much higher quality of players likely to be available at the same point in the draft he would not be worth taking. If Xavier McKinney falls to our 2nd round pick (which I think is highly likely), the decision will be do you draft the best remaining safety on the board to fill a need --OR-- instead draft a much higher rated player at a less of a need roster position group ... McKinney imo has quality starter upside, but he's not an immediately plug-and-play quality starter . Nothing special. Will have low lows and some high highs. No next level impact. Never gets close to a pro-bowl. Enjoys a long career playing above replacement level. Solid player. The type needed to build a winning team but not a huge difference maker. At the same point in the 2nd round, there will be bona-fide High Quality Starters, true difference makers available at WR, CB, and RB guaranteed with the outside possibility of Guards and OTs of that quality being available. So, the question is do you fill a need with a Developmental Quality Starter #2 or #3 Safety on the Board --OR-- an Immediate Quality to High Quality Starter WR or CB who happens to be the #5 to #7 Wide-Receiver on the Board. We'll have decisions like Xavier Mckinney, S Alabama (Need position) --OR-- Justin Jefferson, WR LSU // Jalen Reagor, WR TCU // Bryan Edwards, WR South Carolina // Tee Higgins, WR Clemson // Michael Pittman Jr., WR USC (Less of a Need Position). There will be just as many CB prospects available as there will be WRs options available at that 2nd round pick. And some of them will be better prospects than Greedy Williams by a significant margin. A lot of fans will be clamoring for the Safety to fill a need. Me, I'd rather spend that draft capital on a player who is more likely to be a high quality impact starter within 2 years than a player that is just a developmental starter who's quality is above replacement level but who's team GM will always feel they can/should upgrade upon them.
  8. Interesting... I like Wills Jr. over Thomas. I also think Wirfs is a better prospect at his position than Thomas is at his, it's just Guards/Right Tackles aren't valued as highly as Left Tackles in terms of positional value even though I think that's changing around the league in personnel execs minds.
  9. " And then a statue was erected to GM Andrew Berry..." Wirfs, Wills, Muti, Pittman, Brooks, Bryant, Roche, Blacklock, and Bandy in one draft .. the dream of dreams ... "... and then the Good sirs Berry and DePodest ushered in a time of winning and peace that lasted over 50 years up until this day... the End." -- Future human parent recalling their parents comforting stories of sports bliss in the past during a simpler time "..... awww... nooo.. pleaseeeee one more???? What about the time Berry and Schwartz turned the Browns around by telling the Haslam's to go F-himself... or tell the story of when King Baker Mayfield realized he did need help and hired a QB trainer " -- Browns child of the future Future human parent: " ... Okay one more story.. and then it's bedtime... tomorrow we have to forage cockroaches and hostess snacks on the surface before the scorched sun storm or radiation winds hit by mid-day..." ".... it was a warm, sunny day... Marcus Mariota stepped in ... they doubted him, but little did they know ... they were watching the Ascension of the chosen one... the one to bring new hope and a championship to the city... and then ... (soothing voice trails off into the distance...) "

  11. I can't give an evidenced based evaluation on TEs yet with any real substance (so far that position group looks like a dud, but I hope that doesn't end up being the case), and I'm still working through 43-DTs and OCs as well (however with both those position groups I've gotten good coverage of the prospects thus far). With that said, Without getting into Developmental Starter Upside or Developmental Contributor prospects, I see the quality starter to high quality starter talent pool at each position group as follows: Strongest Position Groups ( 12 or More Quality to High Quality Starters in the Prospect Pool): 1.) WR 2.) CB 3.) RB ------- Strong Position Groups ( 8 to 12 Quality to High Quality Starters in the Prospect Pool): 4.) OT 5.) OG ------- Solid Position Groups (6 to 7 Quality to High Quality Starters in the Prospect Pool): 6.) LB 7.) OC ------ Weak Position Groups (4 to 5 Quality to High Quality Starters in the Prospect Pool): 8.) 43-DT 9.) 34-NT ----- Weakest Position Groups (2 to 3 Quality to High Quality Starters in the Prospect Pool): 10.) 43-DE 11.) 34-OLB 12.) Safety 13.) QB --- Overall prospect pool quality. Solid. Not that Good. Not Great Compared to previous years. However, it's insanely deep if not deeper than it's ever been at a handful of key positions.
  12. So many "he was young then; he's learned" takes. Imagine thinking that an egomaniac at 35 years old in Denver and St. Louis is a young guy like a developing emotion-regulation teenager or early 20s college kid. He wasn't even a late 20s young adult. I'm done with this coaching process. It is what it is. As not excited as I am for McDaniels, I'm also not excited for the pairing of Dave Ziegler-Josh McDaniels or Nick Cesario-Josh McDaniels based on the 1st through 3rd round draft evaluations and selections (of course Belichick is the de-facto GM). My final words on the process until our HC is announced. More than the man we hire, the structure of the power, how the Haslam's interact with that structure, and the staff and support system around the Head Coach matters tremendously. We'll have to structure things around McDaniels with safety nets and guide-rails to keep him on track likely more than any candidate on our list. Let's hope we do so. Give me Jim Schwartz or Kevin Stefanski. Schwartz was heralded as a "genius" by Belichick, but with the ability to relate to players. He knows how to battle through adversity. I've talked enough about why Stefanski. Program Leader Attributes wise those are my two leading candidates. Schwartz, Stefanski, Daboll in that order. Won't happen though. See you all at the HC announcement. I've reached my limit in the madness. JW, Dee, Jimmy, and Chris Cooper know what to do and what to look for. I trust their guts. What a time to be alive... Good times ahead for all ...
  13. "We are confident that myself, JW, Chris Cooper, and Dee have made the best decision for the alignment of this organization and the leadership that this team needs. We'd like to thank Paul DePodesta for his efforts in the coaching search. He's one of the best and brightest people we've ever worked with. So, at this time I'd like to announce that Paul will be moving on to pursue other endeavors for which we have no doubt he'll be successful with. With that said, we are proud to announce Josh McDaniels as our new head coach today and for many years to come." " Lasy year, we had a comprehensive process, interviewing Freddie Kitchens last, and decided to hire him over the recommendations of Paul DePodesta" " This year, we had a comprehensive process, interviewing Josh McDaniels last, and decided to hire him over the recommendations of Paul DePodesta" -- Jimmy Haslam in the future -------- " He's changed; he's reformed and born again; he let go of his egomania and has turned a new leaf so he's the guy we want and will change everything around. He's a younger Bill Belichick. " --- Browns Fan Masses
  14. It's about Full-Spectrum Leadership Acumen, Program/Culture Building Ability, Communication & Vision, Emotional Intelligence, Organizational Alignment, and the Ability to Effect Positive Change. Not exclusively OC/DC Prowess. Based on all the info I've come into contact with during this process, my ranking of the candidates based on my perception of their balance of those Head Coaching traits is the following: 1.) Jim Schwartz 2.) Kevin Stefanski 3.) Brian Daboll 4.) Eric Bieniemy 5.) Josh McDaniels 6.) Robert Saleh 7.) Greg Roman
  15. Elaborate, shiny window dressing that provides cover for their poor leadership and decision-making.
  16. Because that would risk us taking the time to interview various successful established Program/Culture Builders which would mean less time for pants tingles while ignoring DePodestas suggestions. Plus there's no way on earth some of those college coaches have NFL ties; no way on earth they can get the locker room respect better than Freddie; no way they can figure out the rocket science of how to coach football in the pros even if they've been coaching future nfl players their entire adult lives.
  17. he's the front-runner b/c reportedly Jimmy and dee love him. They never listen to depodesta on hc hiring anyway so what he thinks doesnt matter.
  18. All reasonable points. Quality post. Very logical points. Nice Strong post.
  19. Myles Garrett in a wide-9 technique is just one of the funniest things of all time. More speed to power, sharper angle, Myles plays the whole season he gets the sack record. I wonder how Schwartz and McDaniels are going to mesh personality-wise as Schwartz is a brilliant mind and sees Belichick as a father-figure; I just hope he doesn't see McDaniels as a little piss-ant unworthy of the Belichick branding. Lost in the sauce of Josh's previous jobs is how poorly he reportedly managed assistant coaches and communicated with them. Hopefully, if we pair Schwartz and him they don't lead to political in-fighting. Why can't we do Stefanski; O'Connell; and Schwartz... that feels stable and powerful... Truckstop Jimmy Just Do It...
  20. The final countdown... I wonder why we want to make a decision so soon... Is there a chance that Jimmy doesn't Truckstop this whole thing up
  21. If Josh McDaniels is the clear best Head Coach candidate everyone makes him out to be why did the Panthers, Washington, Giants, and Cowboys hire a different coach. Could it be quite possibly that the information they gathered suggested he had issues of leadership? Passing on Stefanski makes sense due to his resume but passing on McDaniels "amazing resume" should tell people something.
