I'm under the belief Alejandro Villanueva is a RFA next year (It's his 3rd year in BDL this season, expiring contract after this year) and to quote the OP "Players in their 3rd year of the league with expiring contracts become restricted free agents: each owner has a chance to tag a player with a pick of its choice " I always assumed 3rd year meant BDL 3rd year not NFL 3rd year so... Is he eligible for RFA next year or am I being an idiot?

QB in BDL like in the NFL is overrated but without a good QB or good QB play you're usually just stuck trying to drive forward in quick sand. It's obviously not the only position that matters but if you have a great one like I do, it masks a lot of issues.

After many wrote him off his rookie season he did the borderline impossible and looked like he might be better than the guy taken after him, he's also the most handsome QB of the 2016 draft by a solid margin. He's a top 16 QB but like I said, how much of that is the rams coaching/talent around him? Wichita is probably the worst team offensively in BDL so it's a dramatic drop in talent from his IRL situation to his BDL situation. I use that logic but I'm gonna want people to ignore that when I start Mahomes....huh. Goff is a top 5 QB.

I mean you don't have nearly close to the personnel or coaching the rams do so eh. Jared Goff is a good BDL QB but I wonder how much of that is him vs. the talent around him.
