Gauff is sitting good on the other side of the bracket. Her toughest opponent would potentially be Keys in the QFs. Elena, Gauff, Collin’s and Keys. It’s gonna be one of them. Is Collin’s on the same level as Elena and even Gauff? No but she’s better at this point of her career than Ostapenko. Her winning the French open 7 years ago doesn’t hold much weight when she’s as inconsistent as she is. She could beat Collin’s but she also could hit 50 unforced errors and lose 6-1 6-1. Just the kind of hot and cold player she is. Are we headed towards a Gauff/Elena final? Most likely but it’s woman’s tennis. Anything can happen when the top dog gets eliminated. Goes to Wimbledon and has a life changing tournament where she will easily get into the top 100 maybe even top 75 after this so automatic entries to the US Open and AO to go along with making more money this past 7 days then she has done her whole career.
