I think you could legitimately make an argument that he is the greatest DB of all time. Revis was an amazing CB and certainly a HOFer. But not someone I would consider as a DB GOAT. Revis at his best was the best CB in the NFL by a solid margin, Reed at his best was the best DB in the NFL by a narrow Margin (Polamalu, Dawkins etc depending on the years) Reed was one of the few players who made an impact at all levels of the defense, Revis only impacted one side of the field. Dude jumped on WRs backs and held them like crazy. If you say no to that you’re just a blind homer. Revis was allowed to undress WRs like no CB in since the 2000s..
