Can Bailey Bail Us Out?

Bailey: “At this point in my career I wanted to, if it was possible, I wanted to somewhere that had an opportunity to win and be a part of an organization that’s right there and right on the brink of having a lot of success. So obviously when this situation came up it fit the bill perfectly. And then I can’t complain on eight games a year inside, so that was a plus as well. So just the ‘win now’ mentality, the guys in the locker room have been great, it’s a really great locker room. So it was kind of an easy decision.”

Fred Cox is easily the longest-tenured kicker in Vikings history, as 1963 was the first of his 15 consecutive seasons in Minnesota. Since then, they often have trouble finding kickers who stick. Their second-longest-tenured kickers are Fuad Reveiz (1990-95) and Ryan Longwell (2006-11), each lasting six seasons.

Bailey is 30 now....

So to break Freddy The Foot's record, he'll need to kick for MN until he's 46

The short kickoffs are actually good, imo. They are stopping them around the 25-30....and all you need is a holding or block in the back or fumble......

And, he looks better than what they've had, I think.

As long as we stop them. The risk is a big return.
