beekay414 Posted July 21, 2019 Share Posted July 21, 2019 Made a move to get Whit Merrifield and Matt Boyd this morning. Wasn't comfortable with Villar being my lone 2B so I went out and got one of the better options at the position at a solid price. Strasburg is a damn stud and is real nice to have but trading for Gerrit Cole opened up this deal. I'm comfortable with my pitching depth so strengthening my offense again while landing a high K/9 pitcher who's had a rough stretch lately is fine by me. Hoping Boyd gets traded to the NL though. Oh well, looking to move Hampson, Adames, and MiLB guys for current SPs. COULD be talked into trading future Elite prospects Luciano and Mauricio too.
