I could see some early struggles early on and a potential rif happening. Players thinking, last year we were winning with Greg but now were not with this new guy. Greg could act like he is above the HC because he had more success. I dont think it will be as bad as Hue vs Haley but it could be an issue like those two were. Yeah at this point he’s not gonna be the DC most likely, unless it’s someone he knows well, likes and respects and wants to stay on here.

Thomas5737
I don't know how I feel about keeping Williams but even if we offer him the job would he take it? It isn't like there wasn't a line of teams looking for his services before this nice little run.

Kiwibrown
3Gs time at buffalo was underrated imo. His 1st year stunk, his 2nd year try went 8-8, in a strong division, all the teams had good records, then the 3rd was pretty poor. They were in a division with Bill B, but overall the Bill's were a pretty bad roster. There qb was a human statue in Drew B and they traded a fair bit to get him. The emotional energy thing can work for a few years in a row, it has with Pete Carrol in sea. That said, he is 3rd on my list of QBs.1 McVat, 2 riley, 3, 3gw
dawgdish
Williams has done a great job, but he hasn't earned the title of 2019 HC of the Browns yet. We need to see what he and the team do these last 2 games, then talk to him and the other HC candidates about their visions/plans for the team and then hire who Dorsey likes best. If that's Gregg, I'm ok with it, and if not I'm ok with it too.
mtmmike
To me the best reason to keep Greg Williams is that he maybe developing two excellent coordinators. do you guys know how difficult it is to hold Denver to 16 points in there own house
