Nzd07
No way Stefanski gets a HC gig. He's 36 and was calling plays for 3 games.

All it takes is one good interview (Tomlin). Being a good head coach is about managing players and communication. Play calling isn’t required. It’s not always about that, teams like to get interviews on these young coaches and other teams coach’s almost to just see how their teams are ran. Stefanski has been in the Vikings Org, a long time, the interview might not even truely be a real interview. Also remember, Sean McVay never even called plays and he became a HC while under Jay Gruden
SemperFeist
Totally hypothetical, but if the Redskins fire Gruden, would he interest you as OC?

Yes for the fact of the experience and history with Cousins and Zimmer. Gruden is a coach I like because he kind of evolves his coaching around whatever QB he has been given. Would I still rather go another route, probably yes, but I would understand it and back it. I really dont see him being fired tho. Guy was leading the NFCE until Smith went down, and then ended up pulling a QB off the streets and still managed to win a game with him.

gopherwrestler
Crazy how adamant the Miami media is totally against Gase. Playcalling, roster work etc. If you really look back, he doesn’t have much outside of the little bit of Tebow and then riding Peyton Manning. SemperFeist
I won’t be shocked if the Vikings go after an OL coach and offer big money along with the “run game coordinator “ title.

I wouldn’t either, but I just don’t see who. Outside of Campen and Pollack there isn’t a ton of talent out there available Campen carried both the OL coach and RGC but the run game wasn’t exactly a strength there. gopherwrestler
We probably could bring in this guy. im sure with a new coaching staff he will be available..... Freddie Kitchens and Bob Wylie come in and take over this offense.
gopherwrestler
Here’s a thought, what if we hired a Offensive Line coach to become an OC? Aaron Kromer would interest me.
