JBURGE
Welcome to the joint franchise run by myself and @biggio7 (jahickory). The premise of this is similar to ones done recently by myself, some by @MKnight82 and @Danger, except this one will feature two separate users with different strategies to build a franchise. I will take control of the new Raiders owner, Jon Gruden, who convinced Mark Davis to give him the team, which doesn't sound too outlandish. @biggio7 is controlling new Chargers owner LaDanian Tomlinson, who plans on moving the team out of LA where they will forever play annoying little brother to the Rams. Both of these franchises will be total rebuilds, so bear with us. The Raiders are a little easier since they are dog ****, but hick (biggio) will be tearing the Chargers down over a couple tears. We will sim the first season and begin in the off-season. League Settings: All-Madden difficulty Sliders: https://realsport101.com/news/sports/esports/madden/madden-19-sliders-guide-for-a-realistic-experience/ Draft Rules: no more than two picks in round 1, two in round 2, three in rounds 3-
JBURGE
2018 Season The goal for me this year since I have full control over the franchise as coach, GM and owner, is to tank and see what we have in some young guys. The team's core is crap and old. I signed a couple Gruden Grinders in Karlos Dansby and David Harris to be tanking leaders on defense. Trade RAIDERS REDSKINS C RODNEY HUDSON 94 FOR 2019 2nd Trading my best overall player who has 2 years left to a team who could contend for their division. JBURGE
So like I said, we just simmed through the first year..... and this is not at all what I expected. There goes the tank... Hick with a far better roster lost 2 more games, and I actually won both H2Hs. I don't think I am going to do any team stats for this year, we'll wait until next year for that, but I will put the awards and playoff results up. biggio7
Tomlinson's plan for the Chargers. He's going all London and moving them far and away. Rebuilding is going to be key. Many many of the current players weren't happy moving so they were relocated off the team. Looking to adjust the roster with talented players looking to make a name for themselves. Expect many trades to come. Players to be resigned and players offered contracts. JBURGE
2019 NFL Draft - Prep I forgot to mention that we are using a 2019 real life class for this draft. Since the draft is only a few months away, I figured it would be cool to get a mock draft in here. My strategy for this draft is pretty simple - BPA, but no QB. I am moving to Vegas this year, so one year earlier than the actual Raiders, and would love to have a QB in place for year 1, but I really want a Madden generated QB rather than one in the mediocre 2019 class. I have no scheme set for either offense or defense at this point. If there is a draft day deal, I will make it. Two notable players on the block: Derek Carr and Karl Joseph. Will consider moving Osemele or Gabe Jackson as well because I HATE paying guards big money. JBURGE
Trade RAIDERS PATRIOTS QB DEREK CARR 81 FOR 2019 1st #28 Trade alert! Moments before the draft begins, the Patriots, with a void at QB due to Tom Brady retiring, have offered their 1st round pick for Derek Carr, who was rumoured to be on the hot seat with new Raiders dictator Jon Gruden. This gives the rebuilding Raiders two 1st round picks and Bill Belichek a QB to make a push at a few more championships.
