Just being clear here... in the other version of mafia there is a version of this role and it doesn't work on mafia members if there is more than one mafia left becuase in that game, all mafia members are considered to visit the targetted player (so roleblocking one doesnt matter). I have always been under the impression that the mafia have to work together and that if the jail keeper blocks/jails whoever they are trying to kill or one of the two mafia in any capacity then it’s a successful block and the mafia fails.
