Tomorrow, if it is a 3-2 ratio, the cop NEEDS to claim, and they NEED to tell the results they have received, even though the green returns will not be a clear.. If we can get a cleared civ, then the lynch pool becomes 4.. 2 of which will be mafia.. In the event that the cop can return 2 green names, the F5 lynch should be one of the 2 un-investigated players.. The odds of them being mafia will be 67% vs 33% odds for the players who WERE investigated.. Furthermore.. the cop needs to be the one who dictates the vote, because all it will take is 1 misvote for the 2 remaining mafia to force the LYLO mislynch.. While following the cleared civ usually isn't the best play, in this case it mathematically is..
