Watts' highlights are much more impressive in terms of pass rush skills than Stephen.

He's not an impressive athlete or a guy who's shooting gaps (like Tom Johnson), he's winning with technique.

Yeah these highlights are impressive at times but the fact is the kid has done basically nothing outside of this season.  That is a long time and a lot of football to not be on the field and it is not like Arkansas has DL in the NFL all over the place.  And even on a weak roster he still did not see the field much...

Maybe he is just a late bloomer, but Arkansas got their butt kicked a lot of the time last season.  They were awful and lost a ton and were in a lot of blow outs so sadly some of that production could be meaningless and against less talent because the other team took the starters out.  Hopefully not the case though and this kid can play but will see.

Some of the highlights are Tulsa and Eastern Illinois but there's also TAMU, LSU and Missouri, all in the 1st quarter so not exactly garbage time.

You can see he's rushing with a plan and using techniques to defeat the blocker in front of him, he's not just overwhelming some guy with size or speed.

Reading some of the Arkansas blogs about him, they're saying he got coached up last year and that's what led to his sudden burst of production.

Yeah it's interesting, he's one of the few DL they've drafted who's a better technician than an athlete. Holmes last year was a physical specimen who looked a little lost in the Senior Bowl drills. Floyd was all burst off the LOS (and TJohnson similarly). I guess Jaleel is similar?

Watts didn't do any athletic testing except the 40, was that due to injury?
