Kennard was an absolute bucket getter during his last season at Duke and was able to go from non-prospect to lottery pick because he outplayed Jayson Tatum throughout the year. Kennard can't create for anyone at all. Just because someone can score for themselves doesn't make them more polished. But, alas, it's a Dookie so... He was an All-American during his final year at Duke and one of the most advanced scorers in college basketball, that's why he went in the lottery during a better class than this years. Kennard's offensive game coming out of Duke was light years ahead of where Herro is now. Kennard was also a two year player. Herro was easily better as a freshman than Kennard was. Why was Kennard an All-American and a lottery pick and Herro didn't even make an All-SEC team again? If he's so much more advanced offensively and as a creator? Kennard was a better prospect than Herro and more advanced coming into the league. Smaller guards with fat post player athleticism and t-rex arms aren't exactly lighting up the league. NYRaider
@beekay414 got to see Herro ball up some of the worst competition in American HS hoops and thinks he's the next big thing.

If they were both on the board as prospects 30/30 teams would take Kennard. He had an elite skill coming out of college and outplayed a top 3 pick on his team. Utley
Kennard is bad. Herro is a low-end rotation player. Come on y'all.

Better than Luke Kennard's revolving door defense.
