OK, Aaron Rodgers will turn Matt LaFleur into next idiot

Rodgers is gonna see things out there than LaFluer can’t and doesn’t. He’s good enough to make changes on the fly.

Peyton did it, Brady does it. Russell Wilson should have.

You never wanna handcuff a great player, when you do that you’re helping the other team.

No I didn’t.

I said he extends plays because he’s that good.

Quit assuming.

This is where McCarthy is getting victimized. A great illustration of Rodgers’s unevenness came two weeks ago in Green Bay’s win over Miami. The Packers faced a 4th-and-2 near midfield. The Dolphins are a zone D that almost always plays nickel. Knowing their nickel would keep two linebackers on the field, McCarthy put in a fourth receiver and aligned Davante Adams in the backfield, so their top weapon could run his route against those overmatched linebackers. Adams did, breaking open on a short-angle route right in Rodgers’s immediate line of vision. The play worked perfectly. And Rodgers, for reasons not even Sigmund Freud could figure out, tried to break down and extend the play. A quick-strike play like this can’t be extended, though, and naturally, the protection cracked and Rodgers was sacked.

I think Rodgers forgot the design of the play.

from 5:20 to 6:00, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssVi7Kqs05w
@10:05, watch WR #33 , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gSh8IiRBZ4&t=612s

With the line he had, it was ridiculous that he had to run so often. Are you saying he rather take the risk of being injured?

Should have checked to a run instead of that putrid pass play in the Super Bowl.

Let these guys run, call audibles, let them be creative, etc...

You remember that game right SnA?

I’m saying let him play. Don’t handcuff him. Let him play his game.

Every coach will become an idiot with Rodgers.

You better expect Jake Kumerow will be next Jordy Nelson, otherwise Rodgers is done.

Yeah I just wasn't sure what you were referring to. Seemed really out of place. But yes you're right, he should've audibled given hindsight.

I never said McCarthy was the problem.

I said coaches should allow great players to be great.

There is a such thing as over-coaching. Not to be confused with bad coaching.
