I guess all of this hoopla about Mertz is misguided.  He turns it over more than Farve used to do.   Somebody on this staff has to inform this young man he has to throw it to a spot and not wait until the receiver is open.  By then it is too late.

Favre turned the ball over 300+ times in his career. Let's cut the hyperbole. Mertz is a redshirt freshman getting no help from his coaches or receivers. He's thrown to spots. All day. They either aren't there, drop it, or over run the route. Do you expect Aaron Rodgers back there?

I may have exaggerated about the turnovers but it is painful to watch.  No I don't expect him to be AR but I expect him to perform better than this.  How come other QBs with less credentials are able to function in their offenses?

Because they have talent? Because their coaches are sackless goons with a ****ty gameplan perhaps?

First 3 years under PC (with GA's guys): 34-7
Last 3 years under PC (with his guys): 20-12

Yeah DJ Gillins, AK, Taiwan Deal, Rob Wheelwright and Krenwick Sanders took us so far.

Lol, the best GA guys were just the usual top 4 in state guys we get every year. To act like GA did anything for this program is laughably bad.

We get you hate Chryst. He's sucked this year. He's been a good coach for UW.
