Dustin would probably get wrestle*** for most of that fight lol. I would avoid that fight if I were DP.

Both Colby and Masvidal are in weird positions career wise after this fight. I don't know what's next for either of them.

Masvidal best option would be Leon for someone good. I think it'll be someone lower like Geoff Neal or Neil Magny.

colby I have no clue. Luque?

Who tf scored that 49-46? God I hate judges

I think giving Masvidal round 2 is pretty reasonable.

Overall, I thought the judges were relatively good compared to their terrible usual standards.

I like Khamzat but if he wins you would give him the title shot just for beating Burns?

Yes either way, but ESPECIALLY if he dominates Burns like he's been dominating everyone else.

If he barely edges Burns in a weird, close battle that makes him look vulnerable, then I say Edwards/Khamzat can fight for #1 contender.

Yeah I had a brain fart. After seeing 50-44, 49-46 seemed closer than it actually is. I don’t agree with him getting round 2 and even if he did, Colby should’ve had at least one 10-8. But you’re right. It isn’t outrageous.

Me neither because the difference between Colby and Usman is obvious but if he beats someone like Edwards/Chimaev/Burns then it would be tough to deny him a 3rd crack. His best chance for an undisputed belt is Usman losing and then it opens up opportunities easier but Usman would likely get an auto rematch

Isnt Edwards/Usman already a thing? I think its close and if it is then Chimaev/Burns has to be #1 contender

Bloody elbow says July despite the injury

Yeah so if Khamzat smushes Burns beginning of April, that timeline makes sense.

suppose that they could let Edwards fight Usman in July if Khamzat loses or has a terrible performance, but if he wins decisively, I just think there will be too much pressure to not skip Leon.

Even if Burns wins it makes sense. Burns lost to Usman but beating Wonderboy and Chimaev is enough to earn another shot imo
