If it was a co-main, it would be 9.5/10 and if it was the third fight on the PPV it would be 12/10 and one of the best cards in years. It's an amazing fight that's being done a disservice by its placement on the card, because we only get this great fight at the expense of another usually great fight (ppv main). JB vs AP = 9/10 Again, a GREAT fight that is one spot too high on the card, imo. Less egregious perhaps than a non-title PPV main, but this would be a 10/10 as a #3 fight. I actually like this fight and it makes sense, so really no problems here for me. edit - I forgot this is at the end of July, so this will for sure be #1 contender, I would think (as long as Ank doesn't win in between?), after Hill / Jiri. I'm gonna upgrade this even more as it's a really good co-main. PC vs IA = 8/10 But.....why? I mean an unranked dude vs #5? Paulo should be fighting Khamzat imo (also unranked I know lol, but at least ranked at WW). This is a cool fight stylistically, it just doesn't make any sense rankings-wise which irks me as a purist. I want to rate it like a 6/10 bc of this, but as a #3 fight on the card (maybe PPV opener depending on Wonderboy vs Michel placement?) - I have to be honest, it's pretty exciting stylistically. TF vs BG - 8.5/10 I like em both. Cool fight that makes sense imo. This is a 10/10 as the Prelims headliner. Chiesa vs Holland = 7/10 Again....but why? Just seems like a weird fight and a complete style mismatch for both, which is arguably intriguing, but it seems like a test of weaknesses rather than a test of strengths. I would rather see Holland paired up against a Garry/Neal type and Chiesa paired against a Gunner Nelson type or even a more promising rising star to challenge his rank like a Jeremiah Wells / Salikov / idk off top my head. Wonderboy Vs Peireira = 9/10 if it's anywhere but the co-main (shouldn't be). Wonderboy should dominate this fight, but it will be fun to watch and hopefully I can get decent odds.
