It’s been a long but productive day of eliminating bad guys, and he deserves a little treat. The Night’s quiet calm is shattered abruptly as an energy blast rips through the living room. Malfatron gets up, clanging metal wristbands against each other as he transforms into his superheroic alter-ego. The black armored figure knows they couldn’t normally go toe-to-toe with such a powerful adversary, but this time is different. It’s all going to be different now. It’s a fierce battle, as one might expect, but all too short for help to arrive. One figure walks ago. Malfatron doesn’t. Malfatron is dead. He was Wonder Woman, JLA Aligned. Elsewhere, a cowled figure crouches on a rooftop overlooking the city. They’ve thought long and hard about what to do tonight. So many choices, so many options. But this must be the one they go with. Must be. The figure swoops down, gliding to a soft landing in front of the aquarium. Abandoned for years, it’s the most obvious place for their target to be lying in wait. Walking through long-empty exhibits, they find what they’re looking for in short order. The tank is full, and an eerie green light coming from…somewhere illuminates the enormous, starfish-shaped creature within. A single, ominous eye watches the caped individual. There’s nothing @MWil23 can do as the figure pours a deadly neurotoxin into the tank and watches it do its work. Mwil is dead. He was Starro, Star Spawn-Aligned. It is now Day 3.
