The first Fumble I can somewhat understand, didnt see the guy and the hand swat, is a recipe for a fumble. But frick Carr needs to feel that. Even though its in like 2 seconds.

The second Fumble is a joke, hold on to the fricken ball. That said, how the hell are there 3 NE players on Carr in 2 seconds for what wouldve been a safety . . . But again Carr hold on to the fricken ball.

Take the Bucs int

Down 11 with 7 mins left.
Debatable pass interfernce on Algholor
Did hit him in both hands.
Agreed wasnt smartest through, but we were trying to score fast.

Not sure if id put this solely on Carr.

A lot of this is to difficult to say it is specifically this player.  Really just need to focus on offense vs defense.  Also every teams offense puts their defense in bad situations so some issues are expected.  We are worse than the majority of the league but I do not want anyone coming in here and saying we are just bashing the offense and expect them to be perfect.

Oh yea I agree with this. Really just looking into it for myself, and figured Id just show it.
Giving my honest feedback on what I see on plays, and am always interested at how others see it.

thats with Carr. So Carr counted for half.

70/16 games= 4.3

29.9 - 4.3 = 25.6 or between 18 & 19th best defense without offense’s assistance fwiw thinking outside the box

https://youtu.be/JHSw_twwzlo?t=357 - Carrs fumble against Chargers

God some of these fumbles are just tough to watch. I really think he is just trying to take a deep shot here with no time left, but with pocket collapsing you just cant hold the ball out like that. Some QBs (Mahommes) get away with it and I think Carr sees that and tries to do it too, but Carr can have both hands on and it still comes out let alone one lol

raiders Falcons
Fumble one - https://youtu.be/ULFf5HwwsYg?t=79  (at 1:19) - He finally does a good job stepping up, but he is touched so of course the ball comes out 😆. This should hav enver been a fumble!

Pick 6 - https://youtu.be/ULFf5HwwsYg?t=441  - (7:20) - Obviously shouldve taken the sack here. 4 guys on him very quick, I think it messed up his follow through and he was getting hit? but it was a bad pass, and went for 6.

Curious do you think Carr’s fumbling issues are curable? I mean he’s in year 7 iirc. Is it just something we have to accept? Qbs get hit and touched so that’s not gonna change.

I was just putting this out there so that anyone coming in does not start an argument about something we understand but are just discussing it without making it more complicated.

Part of what I have been saying about the defense.  They are still not good but not as bad as most are making them out to be.  I would say the league average is somewhere around 1.5-2 points per game so we are definitely one of the worst in the league.  I would put our true points per game just over 27.  Now if you want to take into consideration the cumulative effect the excess TOs take on our defense I would say you are much closer to the 20th ranking.  After getting rid of Guenther I think that 20th spot is a possibility.

No theyll always be an issue for him IMO.
I think at times he tries to do to much, and he needs to just tuck it and run and that may help if he is expecting impact.

I think with his bad fumble issues he is still debatable top 10 though.

He has averaged 9 fumbles and 10 Ints his career.  I would find it hard to believe that his coaches have not noticed this and tried to work on it.  If not they need to wake up and stop babying him.
