It's always fun to play these old games and see how good some of these IRL bad players get. The best example in this game actually is Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. Welcome to Cap Hell. ------------------ I made some changes to my coaching strategy to better fit the current roster. Less focus on Defense, more run and gun, and more focus on the post. I mainly wanted to get more shots up, since i know that Gatson, Burke and McGuire will perform well under any type of offense. So more shots can only benefit. After 1 month, the team is 2nd in the league in shots attempted, and 1st in scoring. So it's working! That's the good part. ------------------- Now the bad. theJ Posted August 14, 2020 Author Share Posted August 14, 2020 My main focus at this point is going to be to make the playoffs with a 1 or 2 seed, and see if maybe giving tons of minutes to McGuire and Gatson can help me make a run. Without Burke, the offense isn't quite as dynamic so i wanted to slow it down and do a little more inside/outside with McGuire and Gatson/Goodman. The result was a 13-3 March, and 7-2 April. There was a 10 game win streak in there too. So it worked out i'd say. I got the 2 seed again. Knicks had like 64 wins or something. He's 30 now, but he's developed quite a bit. He was a 50 OVR when i drafted him. Averaged 8.9 points and 8.2 rebounds per game this season.
