Sasquatch
I don’t think we’ll really know the answer to the OP until several games have been played. No need to list the reasons why we need several games - this is a smart forum and the factors are rather obvious.
OneTwoSixFive
This question says more about the individual poster than it does about the team being better than last year. With less information available than in any normal year, optimists will be positive and pessimists will be negative. As always time will tell, but if nothing else it will be a fascinating and unique year.

What wont be unique is we're gonna win another Super Bowl
Beast
Other than RT and staying healthy I think the Packers players will be better this year. But the record will be worse, as last year they had the 5th easiest schedule (based on after the season, as before the season means nothing), and they're already having a harder time keeping guys as healthy as last year. The offense will look a lot better for a number of factors, but one that's being overlooked is that the defenses we're scheduled to face are weaker than last year, just in our own division alone, all the teams have lost a number of key defensive guys. Then AFC south has some weaker defenses in there than AFC West. The defense will look worse, simply based on we'll probably be facing more actually starting QB, last year we faced a lot.ofnguys who didn't start the season off as the teams starters due to injuries or benching of the starters, and we got the NFC South which might have the best division full of QBs right now. And on top of that, we have to face Philip Rivers, Carson Wentz, and Stafford (maybe twice this season). Gute won't be able to play as many mental coverage games with these veteran QBs. And we're back to having extremely questionable CB depth, and one of the key guys (King) is injury prone.
Striker
I'll agree with everyone else stating that as a team they'll be better even though the record will be worse. Variance is a ***** and a number of those close games will flip. But this should be a better overall unit this year. Hopefully they can stop the run. skibrett15
I for one, can't wait to believe enough in rodgers to be disappointed again rather than surprised at how well he's doing for an above average passer (how I feel now)
