Texas_OutLaw7
I went Hernandez. We will be doing an internal one again after the combine.
WizardHawk
I said Ronnie Harrison. But, think OG and WR are likely in the mix.

cowboysdreamer
#1 Earl Thomas isn't a free agent so how can the Cowboy's sign him without making a trade? #2 Maurice Hurst & Billy Price now have some medical issues that need to be addressed? #3 Jack Cichy in the 3rd rnd. is kind of high with all his past injuries in college, he cant stay on the field? #4 After Hernandez's performance @ the combine he's not getting out of the 1st rnd. it's not just the Cowboys who need offensive line help? #5 I agree its time to part ways with Beasley if in a trade or just release him but if a team is willing to give us something for him then take the trade. #6 I'm not that happy with your 5th rnd. picks Cowboys need to get a change of pace running back and stick with the depth TE's on their own roster give them a chance to shine and stop focusing on Witten he's on his way out soon, lets really see what we have in the cupboard. #7 Shaquem Griffin ,Kameron Kelly, Poona Ford, Jake Campos and Tanner Carew I REALLY LIKE THOSE PICKS. Texas_OutLaw7
I continue to project that Seattle will release Thomas due to his holdout. Yes, they have serious medical issues. Cichy is finally healthy. Sure. He might go 1. Depends how many ol go round 1. You don't like Samuels?
WizardHawk
Dallas loves players with medical concerns. The only thing they love more than medical concerns is if those medical issues will cause player to miss significant time. That means Hurst should be the pick. cowboysdreamer
I don't have an issue with Samuels I just don't think that Garrett & Lineahan have a clue on how to use him? If anything I think the Cowboy's could draft a Rashaan Penny 5-11" 220lbs. 4.46 speed could automatically start on special teams kick returner very good college career on returning kicks also a reliable pass catcher, Nyheim Hines 5-8" 198lbs. 4.38 speed another excellent special teamer and a change of pace back, Kalen Ballage 6-1" 228lbs. 4.46 speed some scouts say he's a similar style runner like David Johnson, a good complimentary back to go with Elliott and Smith. I know Cichy's healthy now but can he stay healthy it's just like Lee a great football player but a china doll. Look at last years team compared to the 2016 team the offensive line carried that team and last year it was a big let down Prescott was constantly on his backside, so if the Cowboys have Hernandez their highest rated OG next to Nelson then grab him he's going to help the offense and defense all @ the same time. Don't get me wrong I would love to see Earl Thomas in a Cowboy jersey but can they facilitate a trade. The Billy Price injury is not that bad but you might get him in the 3rd rnd. now but the Bruce Hurst medical issue is still a big question mark. The Cowboys are rumored to be trading Scandrick try and make a trade with the Rams for Tavon Austin (WR/KR) he'll fill Beasley's spot on the roster and I have been banging the drum the last few weeks for Marquez Valdes- Scantling (WR) South Florida 6-5" 209lbs. 4.37 speed this kid has size and speed. WizardHawk
Can usually count on PFF to have a much different take on prospect rankings and some interesting stats. Good reading... https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pff-draft-board-top-100-players-for-the-2018-nfl-draft My favorite thus far... Quote 9. JOSH JACKSON, IOWA – CORNERBACK Iowa’s Jackson broke out with a huge season in 2017, not just leading all corners in overall PFF grade in 2017, but he had the highest grade we have seen from any of the corners in this class across their entire college careers. He allowed an NFL passer rating of just 36.5 when targeted on 91 passes, a lower mark than if the quarterback had just thrown the ball at the dirt every play instead. Havent really watched the corners but from what Ive seen of him, I am reminded of when I studied Aqib Talib. Jackson, like Talib, does not like to play with space between he and the receiver. He wants to play tight, and keep fighting as they run. He likes to keep himself in position to play the ball, and it shows.

Texas_OutLaw7
So I have been patiently waiting for the rest of you to catch up and watch The Wyoming Wild man, but you are taking far too long. So it is time for an intervention. Start loving our first round pick, Taven Bryan.

We have had a blocker roleplaying the WR class D&D style for years .. T. Williams. Think its time for an actual receiver to play opposite of Dez.
