I think it was 87 across the board week 1, again I was a little late doing it. The offense is now good pretty much everywhere, just lacking that 90s WR. On defense I am strong everywhere so I decided to start both Duke and Slaughter. Duke was starting either way. The reason Duke is blue here is because he had a breakout game week 3 and was successful, so he is now a Star and he also god 20k xp which got him 4 points to upgrade. 2026 Training I will be training WR and OL on offense, and DL and DBs on Defense. This makes sense as I may have a rookie LB next year to train. I need to do DL and I would prefer to get Seawright up a bit. I am Focus Training DT Duke, LE Slaughter, and CB Seawright. 2026 Team Needs This will be a little clearer once we get to the re-signings.... but as of now: IOL MLB QB2 DEPTH I don't really have too many needs now. I will have some starting spots open up next year, but for the most part people are signed. Junior Brooks had a pick and a FR. The Sherriff had 4.5 sacks. The Duke had 2, and Slaughter had 1. MLB Jeremiah Coakley signs a very team friendly deal IMO. $9.5M AAV is pretty great for what is soon to be a top MLB in the league. Junior Brooks has 1 more year and I guess this will be it for him. TE Justin Seawright is so happy his brother was drafted here that he signs for less than $10M AAV. WR Jarrad McFarland... I struggled with this one. It makes a ton of sense. He is an 80 Star. This deal pays him under $5M AAV, which is equivalent to drafting a WR in the top 10. I think I will get as much out of McFarland as a WR3 as I would drafting one in the early 1st. Plus, his deal expires in the same year as Wheeler and then we will pay Wheeler. Matlock will be expiring around that time too, so we will have top reload the WR room in a couple years. By then hopefully Wheeler is a 90+ beast. The rest of these guys will walk. Spencer Thomas wanting $12M makes me laugh and cry thinking about what my tackles will be asking for after next year. So, the center that I passed on in the 1st in this draft was also a superstar, so that's 2 in one draft. I got a hidden LT (star) a couple years ago, and this C this year. That's it out of ~ 10 OL. There was also a hidden LT in this or last year's draft that went early 1. It is pure luck for me. The OL just sucks in this game. It's in a really bad place because the CPU develops OL so poorly, but if you train OL they can get up there pretty quick. So you are torn between lowering the XP slider up or down. I might up it in years where I don't train OL, and keep it 100 or lower it in years where I train them. I also made a mistake in this franchise imo by using the coach points on XP bonuses for training. If I do another one I won't buy those.
