I just upgraded rookie UDFA Jonathan Berry to 70 and he got an ability slot....... wow. An UDFA SuperStar!

I was kind of wondering why he wanted almost $2M per year for a re-signing. Wow this deal looks great now, I extended him for 4 years so he has 5 years. Let's move him up in the depth chart to 4 to get some targets this year

Update on the extensions - Star running back Marcus Jennings has signed a 5 year extension with the Atlanta Falcons worth a total of $36,900,000

We have also agreed to a big extension with LT Alex Gaines.

Joey Snider is going to be gone unless I tag him. After giving almost $20M per season to my LT I can't afford another deal in that $12.5M range he's looking for.

LG Joe Matthews is likely also gone. Two starting OL gone, uh oh. I may actually have to use the tag on one of them. I might have been able to make a deal work with Matthews if he kept his contract demands which was around $8M per, but now he wants $12M. That's too rich for my blood fdor a guard.

Do I pay Snider? I think I'd rather stack up at other positions, like WR and defense, than invest a ton of money into the OL. My SuperStar Center would be a better candidate to extend anyway in a couple years.

I think it's most likely I am re-signing Jojo Jackson over Andrews. Jojo wants less money, is a star, and Andrews has 58 zone converage, bleh

I am going to pick a game to watychg tonight before I go to bed.

I realized I had injuries off this year, oops.

CB Jason Seawright has a compound foot fracture and is out for the rest of the season. Ugh.

Rookie MLB Dom Jefferson has also been injured and is out for 5 weeks (returns NFCCG). This could really screw his chances at DROY, damnit.

Personally, I think i'd find a way to re-sign Snider.  $13 million for a quality RT in his prime isn't bad at all, and if you stay strong at LT/C/RT it will be easy to back fill OG's in the draft.  Gaines, Snider, and your SS Center is the foundation of a dominant oline.

I think in this case, with me paying HB and a safety as I normally would not, I am better served in moving my C to RTand then paying him. Interior OL doesn't do much in this game, and I'm not letting my first Super Star OL walk.

I might tag Snider and run it back with him for another year. Like you said I can back fill Guards, but I can back fill Centers too.

Right now I am paying 0 WRs significant money, but Wheeler is going to cost a fortune, and so will Sherwood and Mays on their 3rd deal if I keep them. I would rather be able to keep them than paying a 3rd OL.

I'll take a look at the cap tonight

I forgot to do mid year stats, oops.

Would you guys prefer if the actual seasons were slower? Technically simming them is the fastest thing about this franchise, and the playoffs and off-season is 80% of the work. I can slow down during the season, stream more games, and post more game stats. I just feel it slows it down by a lot.

The season is over, we finished 10-6 and got he #2 seed. Went on a 3 game losing streak weeks 14-16 and lost the #1 seed to the Cowboys.

Honestly I like the pace you're going. I'm mostly in it for the roster building/drafting lol.

As mentioned, that 3 game losing streak killed our chance at the bye, and possibly the MVP? 9-3 going into thje final 4 games and I was pretty confident I'd have that bye locked up.

Man, whoever told me to do the Broncos was on to something. They havce been terrible this whole time. Same with the Panthers, but they stuck with Teddy for far too long.

Bengals finally having the success they seem to have with Burrow and Mixon in my other franchises. Tee Higgins always ends up a stud too. They also have Deion Jones!

McGee had his best year as a pro, surely that must be enough for his 2nd MVP? I think this is his first year with single digit INTs. I am not getting a lot of stats out of my RBs, but I think that is because of the scheme (Buffalo D). I might tweak some of the playbooks again.

2027 Playoffs - Wild Card Round

The Falcons will open the 2027 playoffs by hosting their division rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers. @bucsfan333

Tampa fans had to watch last year while the Falcons won the super bowl in Raymond James, so you know the fans are ready for this one.

The Bucs best players are:

  • MLB Devin White 99
  • WR Chris Godwin 96
  • RT Tristan Wirfs 96
  • DT Vita Vea 92
  • CB Carlton Davis 89
  • QB Brandon Clancy 82

This is a good team, but nothing special. Their QB is normal.
