THE DUKE
Kind of stinks to lose Ridley for nothing considering the game has him as a top 5 WR at this point still in his 20's, but it's not like your roster is hurting too bad outside of OL. Need to hit on a couple OT at the top of the draft.
JBURGE
FALCONS PICKS 2024 1.06 - 1.29 via Bengals 2.06 - 2.21 via Jets 3.06 - 3.21 via Jets 4.06 - 4.01 via Dolphins 4.23 via Jaguars 5.06 - 6.06 - 7.06 - FALCONS PICKS 2025 1.00 - 2.00 - 3.00 - 4.00 - 4.00 via Packers 5.00 - 6.00 - 7.00 - Here are how the picks shaped out. I have no more assets to trade for picks, so if I want to extend my big draft classes, I will have to trade down this year. Team Needs: Needs for the 2024 draft: OT CB EDGE HB WR

I could tag him again and trade him next year, but I think this will work out ok. You're right about OT. There aren't multiple draftable OTs this year though, so I will need to make sure I get one if there is a good one once I see the combine drills. JBURGE
The Atlanta Falcons have declined OLB Marquise Sherwood's 5th year option I did this because I want to sign him now. He will likely be more expensive per year than the $10m or whatever the option would be, but I want to sign him long term before he hits that 85 ish range and becomes super expensive, and I have a ton of cap to do it next year. Does declining the option create any player frustration that could cause him to not want to re-sign?

I also did this for Deion Jones and someone else earlier so I am happy with letting him walk and choose his next team. 31 minutes ago, THE DUKE said: Does declining the option create any player frustration that could cause him to not want to re-sign? No. It just allows you to resign the player for cheaper because his OVR is lower than if you waited until Year 5.

That's such a dumb thing to mess up. Balancing draft classes with reasonably historically accurate trends should be a simple task. One of the many reasons why so many gamers hate Madden's exclusive NFL license.

My picks here will hinder me. I pick 6th, and as much as I'd like to grab onme of the WRs, I will have to draft Alexander Gaines to play LT. I don't have an OT on the roster. WR Frankin ran a 4.33, he's small, but I'm a sucker for speed. Cordell Ball ran a 4.27 and he's taller.... that's gonna hurt to pass on. OT Joey Snider is a RT. I pick 29th and I'm probably going to miss on him, which blows. My no trade up rule will hurt me. OT CB EDGE HB WR I'm going to start and I will touch on the players as we go through. SS TJ Green goes #1 to the Dolphins. OG Bramble goes to the Eagles. OG Garfield goes to the Cardinals. These OL suck I did scout but they weren't worthy of the board. QB Brian Whitfield goes to the Steelers. He is 77 overall which I think is the highest rookie QB rating we've had. Will have to take a look at him after the draft. QB Brandon Clancy is 5th, 72 ovr.
