Surprised Treadwell got cut but also not super surprised cuz of how many WRs we had in contention to make the roster. Guessing this means Cotton makes it. The new rules are 16 players on the Practice squad, up to 6 of them can have any amount of league experience. I wouldn’t be shocked if Treadwell and Devin Smith both end up there as vets. And each week, the team can protect 4 players from being signed by other teams. So if they can get someone like Collin to not be scooped up right after being cut, they can keep him from being signed.
