What I'm getting a kick out of is how both Pace and Nagy are still approaching the QB situation in their pressers. They must be trying to convince one another that going with Dalton now makes the most sense because the majority of fans and the media ain't buyin' what their selling. They're like a pair of verbal Siamese Twins. LOL

Our camp Oline was 3rd stringers at best and Whitehair. Everyone was hurt or not here. They have roughly 2.5 weeks of 5 NFL guys practicing now to get things together. That is a long time with no games if you use the time wisely. I mean it is not ideal, but it isn’t the same as if we had to play a real game 3 weeks ago. That would have been really ugly. Actually the game we did play was really ugly.

dll2000
Good news is on paper overall the 22 starters are talented aside from CB 2 and 3 and QB1. Bad news is those are really key positions. Good news is OL may be most talented it has been in 3 years. Bad news is OL is not ready to play or wasn't as of a week ago and that still puts us at average at best. Good news is Quinn has reportedly looked good in camp. Bad news is he hasn't shown that to public since coming to team. Good news is Monty looks better than he ever has. Bad news isn't so bad. RB room looks decent. Good news is Kmet looks really good and we have some nice red zone targets. Bad news is aside from an undersized Horsted the TEs as a group look slow of foot and despite being big, aren't great blockers. Good news is DL starters look pretty awesome and so does depth. Bad news is Hicks may be unhappy. OLB good news is Gipson played good against 2nd string OL in preseason. ILB good news is Bears seem to have found usable replacement for DT in Ogletree. Ogletree reportedly looked awesome in camp, looked good in one preseason game and bad in others. But I think playing with starting DL in front of him and next to RS will make a huge difference for how he looks with starting D. Which is probably what camp people are seeing. ILB bad news is our depth sucks. Good news is WR room is really fast outside ARob. Bad news is the fast guys hands aren't all that great (aside from Mooney and Byrd). By your theory, Dalton will be hurt quickly anyhow so what choice will they have?
