Tremaine is very good at covering RBs out of the backfield and filling that Cover 2 hole. Which is his job the vast majority of the time.. He is the 'nearest defender' a fair amount simply due to being in the middle, but the entire Bills D is very good about closing and tackling on underneath routes. Where Tremaine gets is trouble is 1. When the scheme forces him to cover a WR and 2. Man coverage deep down field against good TEs. Logan Thomas, Gesicki, Kelce, Gronk all got him once or twice during their games.
