Crazy how people in the industry who cover the sport aren't even sure about the rule lol

Huh? Where is this 2023 3rd rounder about now? Stop this madness!

On March 26, the 49ers made what arguably was the biggest trade in franchise history, acquiring the No. 3 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for San Francisco's No. 12 overall selection, first-round picks in 2022 and 2023, and a 2022 third-round pick.

You know what would be hilarious is if the Dolphins under McDaniel want Jimmy, and we get back the 29th pick lol

Well, as funny as it sounds, it may be an option. Unless McDaniel is fine with Tua, I don’t see them drafting a round 1 QB this year and I don’t think it would be looked at as a positive landing place for a high end FA like Aaron Rodgers. Jimmy knows the offense and could probably be had for this years second and an additional pick…..it’s really not that crazy

I don't think McD has a say in the matter.

Yeah, I think Barrows messed that up lol. The pick the Dolphins got was the 2022 Mayhew / Saleh comp pick.

Really? You don’t think he would have a choice of the QB to run his offense?

I mean, I u sweet and if he liked Tua, but if he isn’t a fit, I can’t imagine McDaniel being fine with it. Then again, he probably wouldn’t have taken the job if he didn’t want Tua and the team said you have to keep him

Yeah I'm guessing is fine with Tua or he wouldn't have been hired.

Has to be a typo, it was just the 2021 1st, 2022 1st, 2023 1st, & 2022 3rd comp for 3rd pick.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he didn't. That was one of the main reasons they moved on from Flores. One of his interviews was about how he could work with Tua.

Ian also reported that they wanted to keep Tua and build around him
