Just saw this...as much as I have never been fully behind him it is crazy to think Carmichael Jr isn't on this list...

Frank Reich is another very interesting absentee.

I think both are guys who the fans/media are higher on than the league.

The weird thing is Reich was interviewed for a few HC jobs before most people in the media were pushing him...now he seems to have went the other way...have to wonder if maybe he just doesn't want to be an HC and has found a job he loves.

sfl-photos-new-dolphins-coach-dan-campbe

Dan Campbell played tight end, line Ditka.

Dan Campbell played for Dallas, like Ditka.

Dan Campbell wore #86. A 6 is just a 9 upside down, like Ditka’s 89.

Dan Campbell coaches for New Orleans, like Ditka.

Dan Campbell is a man’s man, like Ditka.

Game, set, match.

We need DeFilippo and Morton done during the bye week.

Nagy and Lafleur done as soon as they are eliminated.

The Giants will be behind because of the GM search.

The Bengals seem focused on in house guys.

The Bucs will be out of the gate strong.

If the Colts move on Toub fast he might be pulling from the same pool as Nagy.

Yeah I'd have to think Flip and Morton would be targeted. This is going to be fun and annoying to track to start 2018, isn't it? lol

We just need to avoid the Emery interview everyone take forever path.

If we want a guy who is going deep in the playoffs, Pace needs to start interviewing the staff.

We have had back to back weak coaching staffs.

I think Pace is already working on this and has an idea of who he wants to interview and the order in which he wants to do it. I don't think he's going to take forever... I hope not, anyway.

I recently asked a scout to pick a team he believes has one of the brightest futures. He didn't hesitate. He picked the Bears:

“When you watch [Mitchell] Trubisky, he has some big-time throws. Once you bring in a [new] coach for him, someone more offensive-minded, the Bears could be really solid. They already have a good running back, some pieces on defense; I could see them being next year's Rams."

What will have to change is Trubisky's penchant for throwing into double coverage—and sometimes triple coverage.

If he can do that, the scout may be proved correct about Chicago and the good times ahead.
