Kirk with Shanny completed 56% and had more INTs (10) than TDs (8) with a 6.5 yards per attempt. He definitely was not better than RG3 under shanny. The shanahans also very much wanted Russ Wilson over Kirk when they drafted him. Kyle was in love with Josh Allen, and he drafted Trey Lance. Being a dual threat isn't really the issue. But you have to be able to throw from the pocket. That's probably where he wasn't enamored with Kaep and why he wasn't a fit specifically for his offense.
