You just can't do that with LeBron entering free agency. But Cavs with Gasol would be interesting. Finally get a legitimate rim protector that could shoot pretty well for a big. Would change the dynamic of the team. I wouldn't even ask for the Nets' pick because there's no way Cleveland would trade that for someone like Gasol. Cleveland receives: Marc Gasol Andrew Harrison Memphis receives: Cavs 2018 1st Round Pick Cavs 2022 1st Round Pick ( Lottery protected, top 8 protected, top 4 protected, unprotected). Edit: If too much then I would accept that Miami 2020 2nd Round Pick instead. Iman Shumpert Channing Frye Cedi Osman/Ante Zizic Follow that up with: Denver receives: Mike Conley, Jr. James Ennis III Memphis receives: Denver 2018 1st Round Pick New Orleans 2019 1st Round Pick (top 10 protected, top 4 protected, unprotected) Emmanuel Mudiay Kenneth Faried Omer Asik New Orleans receives: Wilson Chandler
11sanchez11
3rd coach they have fired since 2013 that made the playoffs the year before. Hopefully means they don't tank, we don't need more competition.

tom cody
Gasol would be a worthy pickup for the Cavs for sure. Think the pieces exist to make that work as well.
sdrawkcab321
Is gasol still a good defender? I know he can block shots but he looks slow.

He lost a lot of weight this off season. But it has been suggested that he's on that Eric Bledsoe I don't wanna be here type effort when it comes to defense. Partly why he got benched some would say.
