MOSteelers56
I haven't watched many games this year. I've mostly been watching highlights, looking at boxscores, checking here and veb. I was concerned what we would do when O'Neil and Bader came back with Fowler. His stats are good but it looks like he's not been hitting the ball well. That makes sense. I think he goes back to the bench pretty quickly.
holt_bruce81
Quote Alex Reyes punched a wall after his last start and fractured his left pinky. He'll relocate to extended spring training to continue throwing, but will be out of active competition for about three weeks. #stlcards Edited April 28, 2019 by holt_bruce81

Far from not amounting to anything....

Would you say either of them amounted to that? Far too inconsistent Edited April 28, 2019 by ttitansfan4life

MOSteelers56
I understand the frustration, but come on, Alex. You have to be smarter than punching something. Punching an inanimate object, or really anything honestly, is so stupid.

We've already seen Martinez pitch consistently at damn near elite level from 2015 through 2017 as a starter. Last year and so far this year have been rough with the injuries, but he's not even 27 yet and under team control through 2022... Still plenty of time to return to his level... I'm sure he could have probably not hit the IL, but it seems like a nice precautionary measure. Plus it saves some innings on his shoulder. kgarrett12486
Offense just continues to be clutch. We have one of the best middle of the orders in baseball (2-5). Something we've craved for 3+ years...
