kgarrett12486
6 gold glove candidates. That's quite a feat: Arenado - 3B, Edman - 2B, Goldy - 1B, Yadi - C, O'Neill - LF and Bader - CF I expect Arenado, Goldy, O'Neill and Bader to win.

CWood21
Should make @StLunatic88 happy. I remain skeptical.
kgarrett12486
We're expected to hire Skip Shumaker as our bench coach. This is great news IMO.
ttitansfan4life
I’m sure we’ll be interested in every big FA SS(as we should be). Whether we actually sign one is a different story.

He's only thrown 150+ innings once in his career.

kgarrett12486
Pretty impressive to have 5/9 of the gold glove winners coming from the Cards. First time it's happened. I will give Mike Schildt credit here, he did help turn this organization around defensively in the last few years from where they were.
kgarrett12486
Two names to keep an eye on for us in the pitching front. We've been connected to both in the past and with them not having draft pick compensation tied to them, seems more likely we'd pursue. of course, there will be a lot of teams in on them now too. Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports that Carlos Rodon did not receive a qualifying offer from the White Sox prior to Sunday's deadline. Right-hander Jon Gray did not receive an $18.4 million qualifying offer from the Rockies prior to Sunday's 5 PM deadline.
kgarrett12486
We've resigned RP TJ Mcfarland. Terms are not yet known, but can't imagine it's much.

kgarrett12486
Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports that the Cardinals are among the 10+ teams with interest in Nick Martinez. He's pitched the last couple years overseas in Japan and posted strong numbers. We're literally looking to capture Miles Mikolas 2.0. He even originally comes from the Rangers organization, just like Mikolas did.
