If the Steelers dont take Porter tomorrow, it means they have some major issues with his game...OR someone makes them an offer they cant refuse.

Ill be shocked if we dont take JPJ, though.

can we trade down a bit and still get him  though?

If we take him or Turner, that is our top 2 priorities , not a bad start.  Too bad we could use a few more picks but thats how it stands.

It would be nice to get 2 CB's but I don't see it now unless we trade down possibly twice or trade a player or 2.  Even if we trade mitch, we then need to draft Tune or whoever to replace him

@3rivers

I doubt Porter lasts long tomorrow, but teams have more info on these guys than I do.

Doubtful we draft 2 CBs early.

And Mitch isn't getting traded.   No chance.

it would be nice to trade down but if they want JPJ then it's probably pick 32. If they don't want him but prefer a different CB, then they still might take that said player at 32.  Trading down at 32  would be nice but they can't lose the prospect of interest.

CB speaking  there are a few they might have interst in, and Ringo better not be one of them. Probably this order,  really would be good to get any of the first 3.

Turner

JPJ

C.Smith

Brents

Stevenson

Probably trade down from 49 unless they get a nice offer here at 32.  Can they work out a trade with 2 other teams so that we know those teams will leave the CB's alone for us? A team that wants a QB and say WR?

lions

both could take Porter or Turner or Cam Smith

but what about

colts

rams

Of course if Porter wants to player here he could be a FA signing 4 years from now, thats another option if they traded down too far.

Maybe the 49 pick is what they will trade down from.

mock with Broderick Jones.

I think the trades were decent but the last 2 prospects are lesser known to me. WR Higgins was gone, usually is there late as is BFW, both were gone.

If the Steelers decide not to trade down, then I would be happy with either JPJ or Branch. Branch would be my selection since he is so versatile. That would be very valuable weapon to have for the defense. He also only had a 3.2% missed tackle rate in '22.

Ok I really want JPJ, but if there’s actually a crazy bidding war going on for #32, go get yourself a kings ransom Omar. Still plenty of great 2nd round options on the table

JPJ

Branch

Darnell Washington

Olujari

Michael Mayer

Keeanu Benton

Jonathan Mingo

Joe Tippman

Kelee Ringo

Julius Brents

JMS

Trenton Simpson

Adebawore

DJ Turner

Sydney Brown

Drew Sanders

Cam Smith

Just give me JPJ

Could trade down and hope , but I'm a fan of just taken you guy

Come out with arguably the most highest potential LT

And a 6'2 potential shut down CB with the bloodlines

How JPJ was talking about his press technique on the bmac and pat p podcast, give me that over a gamble trying to be geeedy

I dont think the trade up was necessary at all. Khan, imo, panicked and it cost him a 4th. Now sitting here without a 4th, 5th, or 6th round pick.

Havinf said that, JPJ is at the top of the list for me for R2

I'd be amazed if Jones was making it past the Jets, so I think it was necessary if he's their guy.
