CJ told them not to draft Wypler….

Did he actually? I mean, is it a rumor or something he actually said?

The last few years, we’ve pleasantly discovered that @LORK88 has someone in the building.

They ended up taking Patterson late who can play center. They easily could have had Wypler but obviously weren't interested.

I don't know the why behind it, could be for a lot of reasons. Could be he trusted the Texans to pick the right guy for him. I don't think he said it on his own. He probably was asked for his opinion.

I like that they’re immediately asking his opinion - that seemed like a significant disconnect with the Watson era.

There’s no reason we shouldn’t have an elite offensive line

If they can re-sign A.J. Cann, yes. And they'll need it, given the five pillars Stroud had in Ohio State.  The starting 5 might not have much depth behind them but Caserio has done well concentrating on providing for his new QB.

They'll still need a depth threat.  Maybe they'll get lucky with Dell or Hutchinson.

They still have $21,167,571 (5th) in cap money, enough for one more free agent...

I'm not ecstatic about a guy who many had pegged as a mid to late rounder being drafted at #62.

But it's a position of need and I think with a new coaching staff in place we have to give them the benefit of the doubt.
