I feel like everyone is doing the Cardinals this year, everyone has done the Texans for 3 years straight, and personally I just don't like the Rams. So the Bucs were the pick. They have no QB in the waiting and honestly the roster is pretty terrible. The ultimate goal is to replace the entire roster with cpu generated players drafted by me. Per usual I'll be simming all games, including playoff games. The goal is just to build the roster and let it sim out. Bucs start with OVR (81), OFF (81), DEF (83) which seems inflated compared to their actual talent. LEAGUE SETTINGS Trade Deadline - On Salary Cap - On P.S. Stealing - On Injuries - On Dev. The Jets are all in with an aging Rodgers. *TRADE* Bills Receive MLB Lavonte David (91) Bucs Receive 2024 Bills 2nd Round Pick 2024 Bills 5th Round Pick - Bills need a replacement for Trumaine Edmunds. I based the compensation off of what the Ravens paid for Roquan Smith. *TRADE* Lions Receive DT Vita Vea (88) Bucs Receive 2025 Lions 1st Round Pick - Lions want to pair a star DT with Hutchinson for their playoff push this season. High caliber DTs don't get traded often, I based this off of the old Deforest Buckner trade where he was traded to the Colts for #13 overall. I have a bunch of guys who are pending FAs so I probably need to shop some of them. *TRADE* Chargers Receive FS Antoine Winfield Jr. (88) Bucs Receive Chargers 2025 1st Round Pick - I wasn't looking to move Winfield yet but his contract is expiring so I basically have to. I figure this is kind of like the Minkah Fitzpatrick trade. I wanted a current first but the Chargers wouldn't go for it, so I had to take one for next year.
