We would be winless this year if Josh Allen didn’t hand us a win. I really don’t think this team is as good as people thought they were. The Jets have been bad for so long, the media saw a slight glimpse and jumped on it. This team is more what we saw the second half of last year once teams started figuring them out, not that 5-2 mirage. jetsfan4life51 Posted September 25, 2023 Share Posted September 25, 2023 (edited) The defensive line is fairly easy to block. They ALL showed up against Buffalo. But last two games everyone has been a ghost. Saleh has DE/DT hybrids lining up Wide 9 then crashing the middle and everything is clogged. Why do we have big, slow guys lining up as far as possible from where they are trying to get to? And both JJ and Huff have not been winning 1-1 battles on the edge. Our O line just can't run block I have seen ever Jets O line since 1963 and by far this is the worst O line for run blocking in our history. YOU ARE WRONG WE HAVE BETTER RB THAN A LOT OF TEAMS , . .LET'S PUT THE BLAME WHERE IT SHOULD BE WE ARE BACKE TO SQUARE ONE AT THE QB POSITION, IN FACT WE ARE IN WORST SHAPE SINCE WE DRAFTED DARNOLD. The all 22 is damning. I think the OL last week is average in the NFL. That means if Wilson is this franchise QB that Saleh says he has to play better. Tippman graded out as the 4th best pass protector last week of all inter lineman. That was his first start too. JD needs to grow a set and tell Saleh "We F upped". I'm trading Wilson for what we can get so you HAVE to come up with a new QB. I think the best OL we can get and be above average is Becton, Tippman, McG, AVT, Mitchell. This should have been the starting line up week 1. Not sure on Warren but I did read that he is better at G so if he can step up I would bump McG out. We already had him here and he was terrible. Yup JD your stepping into the get fired crew now. I've always thought he was a good GM but this move is just plan poor on his part. The only reason they signed him is to fill the QB 3 spot and not be a threat to Wilson starting job. This staff is putting Wilson over the team and no one likes it.
